Dr Shehab Faragallah

Dentist BDSc (Queensland)

Born in Melbourne and raised on the Gold Coast, Shehab graduated from University of Queensland in 2001.

After being the principal dentist and business owner of a dental practice on the Gold Coast for 10 years, Shehab decided to follow his passion for holistic dentistry. He has been working at the Meridian Holistic Dental Surgery in Mullumbimby since 2013 and also supported the education of students as Clinical Mentor at Griffith University.

Shehab believes holistic dentistry is to see a patient as a complete individual rather than just focussing on treating teeth which gives him great satisfaction in his work.

Having also practiced all other facets of the field including cosmetic, general, pediatric, restorative and surgical dentistry as well as some orthodontics, Shehab has completed hundreds of complex full mouth rehabilitation cases.

In his recreational time, Shehab loves to be play soccer, especially for his indoor team, and to tire himself out with Brazilian jiu jitsu – a form of martial arts focused on grappling and ground fighting.

He also enjoys to travel and to spend time with his children.
