Dr Trevor Pinchin is a dentist at Gold Coast Holistic Dental Care in Carrara, with a special interest in dental implants, oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation. He has been placing dental implants for more than 10 years, and he enjoys helping patients with missing or failing teeth understand their options and plan a way forward that suits them.

Trevor graduated from the University of Sydney, and has since completed extensive postgraduate training in implant dentistry and surgical procedures. He holds Fellowship, Mastership and Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Much of Trevor’s work focuses on full arch implant treatment, including the All-on-4® approach, for patients whose teeth are failing or already missing. He also performs wisdom teeth removal, complex extractions, and bone and gum grafting, and he provides implant care for anything from a single missing tooth through to a full arch.

Trevor takes a holistic, patient-centred view of dentistry. Rather than looking at one tooth in isolation, he considers how your whole mouth functions, how comfortable you are, and your long-term health and wellbeing. Where it suits the patient, he is happy to talk through options such as ceramic implants, techniques that aim to preserve the surrounding tissue, and minimally invasive surgical approaches. Above all, he wants every patient to feel informed, relaxed and involved in the decisions about their care.

Trevor is friendly and easygoing, and he likes getting to know the people he treats. He understands that oral surgery can feel daunting, so he takes the time to explain each step. In his view, a good conversation and a little humour go a long way towards a calm, comfortable visit.

Outside the clinic, Trevor is kept busy by his wife Natalia, who is also a dentist, their energetic twin daughters and Brady, the family’s golden retriever. He is a keen surfer and kitesurfer and heads out on the water whenever he can. He also loves to travel, explore new places and experience different cultures. When he is not chasing waves or planning the next family adventure, you will usually find him enjoying the Gold Coast lifestyle with his family.
