Jana has been a dedicated Oral Health Therapist since 2011, specialising in caring for children and ensuring they feel confident and comfortable in the dental chair.

She completed her Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Technology in 2010 and her Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy in 2011, where she earned the Griffith Award for Leadership Excellence. Jana also holds certification in the Adult Scope for Oral Health Therapy, which broadens her ability to provide comprehensive care.

Jana began her career as a Dental Technician, a role she balanced while pursuing her second degree, which laid a strong foundation for her clinical expertise. Throughout her career, she spent thirteen years dressing as a tooth fairy, spreading smiles and dental awareness to children. During this time, she also gained invaluable experience working in orthodontics, where she helped patients with braces and Invisalign treatments.

Her passion for helping others extended internationally when she volunteered her oral health skills in Long Tan, Vietnam, where she provided essential dental care to children with poor oral health. Closer to home, Jana has contributed locally through the Essesson Foundation, offering free dental care to those in need.

With a deep understanding of paediatric care, Jana works closely with paediatric dental specialists to provide tailored treatment for her young patients. She has a remarkable ability to connect with autistic children and children with special needs, achieving exceptional results both emotionally and clinically. Her nurturing approach helps children overcome their fear of dentistry, transforming their dental experiences into positive and enjoyable ones.

Outside of her professional life, Jana stays active in sports and loves spending time with her husband and two boys. She deeply loves animals, enjoys cooking, and takes every opportunity to go on holiday. She also has a passion for acting in movies, which keeps her creative spirit alive.
